Integument

A natural outer covering or coat, such as the skin of an animal or the membrane enclosing an organ.

Right: June documentation: Filmed near Mt Tomah and the State Mine Forest areas, two different rainfall domains and rates of response

In the approach to mid-winter, on the rise of a full moon, it seemed appropriate to insert an intervention into the landscape, in an area near Mt Tomah where the burn had been one of the hottest and most destructive. A ghosting or manifestation of the animals that used to be here.

Gouldian etchings of endangered macropods local to the region, enlarged and printed on fabric, wire, stainless steel hooks, 2020.
